There is no shortage of trouble in our world. Every day, it seems there are new challenges and difficulties. Now, you may be one who would say that these are just opportunities in disguise. If you are one of those people, then I have a message for you. Not every trouble is an opportunity. When a loved one passes away, we don’t celebrate the opportunity that comes from that. No – there is hardship and grief and trouble in this world, and we will experience that.
Before I paint a picture without hope, and there is always hope, let me share why you can face trouble optimistically and with a tremendous amount of hope. Actually, let me read about it, listen as I read Nahum 1:7.

Prayer Requests
- Pray for our staff as they plan for summer ministry in the midst of COVID and restrictions. There have been numerous plans suggested, and we are still hopeful that overnight camps will happen!
- Pray for listeners to the Bible Story Podcast. While we want many listeners, we also want to hear about listeners growing in a relationship with Jesus!
- Pray for the summer camp industry. Many camps are unsure if they will have to close permanently. We want to see bible camps across Canada continue to help children and youth grow closer to Christ!
Thanks for your prayers, you are an amazing group, and I appreciate each one of you! There is no ministry apart from Christ. Pray with urgency and expectation!
