Grow in a relationship with Jesus

CAMP

Parents!

Weekly Sessions are categorized by age and grade of each child!

We are hopeful overnight summer camp will be allowed and are planning for that scenario until we feel it would be unsafe to do so or the government specifies this year’s restrictions!

We promise to have a fun, energetic, and faith-focused summer we have come to know and love here at Covenant Bay! We encourage you to register for the session that fits your child best!

What parents have to say!

Family Camps

  • July Long – July 1-4
  • Family Week – July 5-9
  • August Long – July 30 – August 2
Daily Schedule

Twice a day we gather for a time of worship. Our speakers bring the Biblical truths to life through stories, games, and engagement with the campers.

We continually aim to create opportunities to speak openly with our campers. Meaning over meal times, walks to the next activity, or during cabin or group time we are intentional about asking the campers about their life and journey with God.

We recognize that common experiences, fun, and honesty, create life long, vibrant relationships.

We approach this through a variety of different ways.

  • Large and small group activities
  • High energy Fun!
  • Intentional times of mentorship and conversation
  • Worship and Biblical Teaching
  • Activities that foster growth

Canteen (store)

Campers are given the opportunity to get two snack items from the canteen each afternoon.  Snacks include ice cream treats, freezies, chocolate bars, pop, and some smaller candies. This cost is rolled into registration fees, and therefore, your child will not need any extra money for the canteen.

Our store will also be open each weekday for the purchase of camp clothing & other fun swag!

Medical

Allergies and Medical

We collect allergy and medical information during registration. Our cooks are able to accommodate nearly all dietary and alergy needs. If we are unable to provide adiquate meals in all occasions, we will work directly with you to find a solution! All medications are collected at registration and will be administered by our designated staff person. We have lots of fun, and sometimes accidents happen. If your child is injured or needs medical attention, we will attempt to notify you before taking them to the Wetaskiwin hospital. All ambulance expenses will be paid by the parent or guardian of the camper.

2021 Deposit Information

Deposit Information

Given the ever-changing dynamic of Covid-19, we are planning ahead as much as we can. There are limitations for parents, children, and Covenant Bay as an organization. With that in mind, we have decided to forgo any of our usual deposit requirements until June 1st, 2021. At that time deposits will be taken in order to help us finalize camp numbers and prepare for each week!

F.A.Q

Pick up is 7:00 pm and Drop off is 10:00 am for all overnight camps.

Registrations will be processed as usual; however, there will be no need for a deposit until June 1st, 2021. This deposit will then be taken to best prepare for the number of campers each week.

We are hoping and praying for overnight camps this summer! This means, as you register, you are registering for an overnight camp session. We will make any decisions or changes closer to the date of camp.

The health and safety of each camper, staff, and visitor are always of the utmost importance. We will continue to update everyone on guidelines, restrictions, and health advisories as we continue to become informed.

We understand that not every camper will have the means to attend camp. If your camper needs financial assistance to attend camp this summer we want to help! Fill out the form below. Covid-19 Policy/ Standards

As of July 1st, 2021 the province of Alberta has moved into stage 3 of the reopening plan.

At Covenant Bay Bible Camp, health and safety are always our number one concern. We attempt each summer, to create a space conducive to experiencing joy, relationship, and faith in Jesus Christ. This year is no exception but has offered some unique challenges.

As laid out by Alberta Health Services, upon entering stage three, we are to refer to stage two restrictions as a layout for best practice while in the third stage.

This plan comes with reflection, counsel, and research. In following these best practices we are able to clearly provide a safe and welcoming environment for all. The ability to carry out our summer uninterrupted by outbreaks or shutdowns is critical for the fullest function of our organization.

Masks will be worn only in critical areas or times of indoor, close contact. Some of these areas would include waiting in line for food or while site-specific cohorts are unable to be maintained.

We have adapted our schedule to the best of our abilities to allow for the spacing and timing of nearly all our regular programming. This will allow the masks to be worn minimally throughout the day.

We, as leadership, appreciate kindness and grace within this time as we diligently seek wisdom and understanding to carry out the mission of Covenant Bay Bible Camp.

Blessings,
