Who left the milk out? Someone forgot to turn out the lights! Who left the mess in the bathroom?
I am not sure if you remember questions like this but for my siblings and me, and now for my kids, there is an immediate response of it wasn’t me from most, if not all. Leaving us to wonder at the miracles of life – like how messes magically appear. All joking aside, most kids spend a lot of energy trying to prove that they are innocent.
I am so glad that I don’t have to present my case to God and attempt to prove my innocence.
For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus.
1 Timothy 2:5
Jesus Christ is my Mediator, and it is a challenging case if he were to prove my innocence – ok, impossible. Fortunately for me, he is not trying to prove my innocence; he merely needs to show his grace in my life—what an incredible thing to boast about. The grace of God is greater than my mess – my sin and brokenness.
Prayer Requests
Last week Program Director, Bradon Pihowich, applied for rapid testing from the Alberta, Government. Conversations between Summer Camp industry leaders and the Government continue. Let’s continue to pray that we will be able to do summer camps safely and that many children and youth will grow closer to Jesus.
The building committee will be interviewing architecture firms in the coming weeks and then making a recommendation to the camp board about which firm to hire. Pray for wisdom and discernment for the committee members.
The Bible Story Podcast continues to have strong numbers each week. Pray that the number of listeners each week will grow and that many will grow in a relationship with Jesus as a result!
Thanks for praying. There is no ministry apart from Christ. Pray with urgency and expectation. I will talk to you next week.
