I swallowed hard as I looked up and found myself in the principles office, who just happened to be my Dad! I had let two other boys look at my answers on a quiz. We were marched down to my Dad’s office. For the next 2 weeks, I ended up in the Library with these two other boys tutoring them, making sure they could pass not only the last quiz but also the next one!
What was interesting was that I figured my Dad would talk to me about it on the way home, which would lead to a conversation with my Mom, and then I figured I would get a second round of punishment at home! Much to my surprise and delight, he said nothing. At first, I thought he was just super mad, but with time I learned that he had moved on and was no longer condemning me since I was no helping my friends the right way by tutoring them. There was a correction, and there was grace. That has impacted my understanding of God and how he interacts with us!
So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.

I just wanted to say thank you for your consistent prayers and support. Covenant Bay Bible Camp belongs to God, and he continually invites us to partner with him in his work. Prayer, serving, invitations and donating are ways people support the work that God is doing. I am so incredibly grateful and so, I wrote a song and a five-day devotional it is my way of saying thank you for partnering with God and supporting the ministry at Covenant Bay. Go to our website to download the devotional and song, of the same title, “Your Grace is My Glory”. I hope you enjoy it and again thank you.
Prayer Requests
This Saturday at Faith Covenant Church in Breton, Alberta, is the Annual General Meeting for Covenant Bay Bible Camp. You are welcome to attend online or in person though please register if you plan on attending online. Go to our homepage, and partway down, you will find a link about the Annual General Meeting. Pray for a good meeting and that we will have the courage and grace to continue following God’s will for Covenant Bay!
Let’s continue to pray for the in-school program. Bradon Pihowich and Cassidy Barg will be at a school in Leduc for the next two weeks. Pray for the students that God will work in the hearts and give them a great deal of hope and joy.
Finally, as numbers go up for COVID 19, it puts our summer plans at a higher risk of not happening as planned. Following restrictions so that COVID 19 cases drop is important. Lower case numbers will mean fewer restrictions and allow Covenant Bay and many other bible camps the very best opportunity to do ministry this summer. Let’s pray together that God will lead us into an incredible opportunity to do ministry this summer and that hundreds of children and youth will grow in a relationship with Jesus and come to know him!
Your Prayers are so important. Thank you. Remember, there is no ministry apart from Christ. Pray with urgency and expectation. I will chat with you again next week.
