Mental Health and Resilience

Outcomes

  1. Each student will have a further understanding of emotional regulation, create personal “Check-Ins,” and develop healthy coping skills.
  2. Each classroom will be encouraged to foster the idea of a “Safe Space” or Therapeutic Milieu.
  3. Teachers will be equipped and supported during the program’s duration to individualize each approach, promoting the program’s highest percentage of success due to the flexibility and ongoing support.
  4. Further resources and programming will be provided to continue the initiative within the classroom and school.

An initiative in resilience explored through therapeutic activity and fun, all with the outcome of emotional recognition and regulation to further develop healthy well-being.

Themes such as healthy communication, coping skills, self-care, and emotional regulation will be explored through activity, conversation, and small group studies.

Educators will have access to an instructor through video chat for coaching before and after the course.

Each on-site program will be tailored to the specific age group and developmental capacity of the classroom! Making each session valuable and personal.

FAQ

What if my school or class cannot attend school due to a positive COVID19 test result?
We would be pleased to reschedule your booking to the next available date or transition your classes to the online learning option. We are flexible enough to be able to accommodate this situation.

What if a province-wide school closure comes into effect? What will happen to our booking?
The easiest option would be to transition all classes from in-person instruction to the online learning format. We do not know all the details about a possible decision like this and would work with each class/school to ensure we meet their needs.

Can activities happen outside?
Due to the flexible structure of the program, each activity session will vary. Activities can be done inside (classroom or Gym ) or outside (weather permitting)
Each activity will be built based on our five foundational building blocks: Safe Space, Team Work, Emotional Recognition/ Regulation, Communication, and Resilience.
