Head Cook
Covenant Bay is looking for an experienced head cook. In the summer, during summer camps, the position will be full-time. During the fall and winter, we host many rental groups from schools to churches. In the winter the position will be part-time but could be augmented with other work at the camp such as cleaning.
The successful candidate will be well organized and work well in the kitchen with both paid staff and volunteers. This person should be an energetic, positive individual who encourages others well.
Hours: Part-time (Winter) Full time (Summer)
Wage: $20/hour
Covenant Bay is a growing Summer Camp and Retreat Centre located on Pigeon Lake, AB. Covenant Bay is part of the Evangelical Covenant Church of Canada. The purpose of Covenant Bay Bible Camp is to promote a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by providing opportunities for fellowship, worship and instruction in discipleship. Recently, with the completion of a new lodge, Covenant Bay has experienced growth in its summer camps and more significantly in its rental program. The small year-round staff are managing the growing operations by being flexible within duties and roles.
