What are you thankful for? Here at Covenant Bay, we are thankful for what God is doing in the lives of young people, and we are thankful for the many people who join in what God is doing!
Cabin leaders, prayers, lawnmowers, cooks, donors and many more ministry partners join together with God and help young people grow in a relationship with Jesus!
You are invited to join us on Sunday, Aug 4, 2024, for Thank You Sunday. A day to recognize the hundreds of ministry partners that invest in young people. And more significantly, it is a day to give thanks to God for what he is doing in the hearts of young people.
Thank You Sunday will be a day of celebration and gratitude. It will begin with a worship service at 10:30 am with music led by our summer staff and a message given by Executive Director Jon Drebert. Following the service will be a free BBQ lunch and an afternoon full of games, fun and opportunities to connect with new and old friends!
If you go back into the history of Covenant Bay you would learn that the August Family Camp Sunday was traditionally known as “Camp Sunday.” A large gathering where many families and friends come together for a day of fun. It was such an important Sunday to several churches that they made the intentional decision to not do a service at their church building but encourage everyone to join the 10:30 morning service at Covenant Bay. It was a time to gather and celebrate mid camping season all that God was doing in the hearts of young people.
We want to make a new tradition this year by calling it Thank-You Sunday. That day, particularly that morning, we will thank the Ministry Partners who invest so much into children and youth. We will have a few special things during the Sunday Morning service and, as always, lots of fun throughout the day! So please join us for Thank You Sunday on Aug 4. The day will begin with a worship service at 10:30 am.
Let us know if you are coming by registering online under Family Camp 2024. When registering indicate all family members that will be attending, and select the Thank You Sunday session.
You will then be asked to indicate if you will be attending the meal or not. Please sign all family members up to continue. You will be asked to fill out dietary restrictions in the Medical form.
