Telisa is great

In case you are curious, Telisa is sweet.

Telisa Bucknor

“Having been a girl who was “bigger and taller” growing up, I know what it’s like to want to fit in and to look and feel like everyone else. But now I  know that a) people change and so do the way they treat others and b) God always loves! In a world where people are constantly trying to do better and be better to fit in, I am passionate about youth understanding their uniqueness and realizing just how special they truly are! I am delighted when young people experience a love that cannot be earned but is freely given, the love of God!”

Telisa Bucknor lives in Edmonton she is a youth leader in her church and works as a nursing instructor. She is enthusiastic and is incredably warm. If you are caught up in conversation with Telisa you will likely find your self laughing and wanting to talk more!

Telisa takes the time to get to know each camper and uses this knowledge to speak into their lives appropriately. She allows herself to feel burdened when learning of someone’s hardship or filled with joy when she hears of their success or blessing. Their is no doubt that the students will feel loved and thus be open to God’s word that Telisa will speak.
