Covenant Bay Bible Camp exists to promote a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by providing opportunities for Worship, Fellowship and Instruction in Discipleship.
History
Covenant Bay Bible Camp has been doing ministry at Pigeon Lake for over 80 years. There have been some very lean years particularly through the 30’s and some years of extreme blessing. We celebrate often what God has done in our midst and the many faithful servants that have made CBBC so successful.
Today
Our camp is modest in hosting 50-60 campers and having 17 acres of property. We work hard at planning and doing high quality ministry to all ages. This includes, family weekends, ladies and men’s retreats, young adults and of course children of all ages. This year we have many improvements that we are working on: improved access and landscaping of beach area, improved seating around the fire pits, improved lighting in chapel, additional canvas style tents, and improved function of office space.
Future
We will continue to make improvements at the camp over the next several years with our largest project to be a group housing building which will sleep 72-84 and include washrooms, dining and kitchen area, lounges. This will allow us to move forward with year round programming and better serve our local community and other CBBC supporters and guests.

Support
We work very hard at stretching every dollar and being good stewards of the resources God has blessed us with. CBBC now functions with its programming fees and operational grants covering 100% of existing program expenses while donations and grants go towards the development of our new programs and property/facility development. With that said our camp fees are on the lower half when compared to other camps in central, AB, and we will continue to offer avenues for campers to come to camp for free.
We are blessed by our supporters without which CBBC could not operate as it does today. Though donations and gifts in kind may go towards a physical construction project it all serves the mission of CBBC and enhances the guest experience.
