Wilderness Adventures Info

There are a wide variety of responses to the idea of going into the wilderness for an adventure. Some get very nervous, others are excited. We want your response to be filled with excitement for your trip. We also want you to know how we reduce the risks involved and finally how to prepare yourself for an awesome experience! Regardless of the program, we promote a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We think that Wilderness Adventures are an excellent way for people to experience God!

Trip Planning

The more inexperienced the group the shorter, more accessible and less difficult the trip planned. As leaders, we identify the most dangerous areas on the route and ensure participants have both the physical strength and skill sets to do what is required. Making a contingency plan if outside help is needed. How will we get help, and how will care be provided until help comes.

Please follow the packing guidelines. If you are missing anything, contact us.

We have some items available for use.

The time leading up to an event is when we prepare, sometimes unknowingly. Interest is peaked, conversations, smaller experiences, reading all help educate and prepare. Here are three things you can do to help you get the most out of your Wilderness Adventure experience.

  1. Get Excited!  Talk about the trip that is planned!
  2. Encourage physical fitness. The more physically fit one is the more enjoyable the experience will be.
  3. Prepare your heart! Our hope is that this trip will provide an encounter with the Living God. Pray for safety, pray for good weather, and pray that God will meet you on the trail!

We can't wait to have you join us. If you have additional questions please give our office a call at (780) 586-2828
